La plupart de ces jeux fonctionnaient sous DOS à l'époque. Sous Windows 98 on peut les faire fonctionner encore assez bien mais à partir de 2000, XP puis Vista ça devient plus compliqué.  

  * En gros certains jeux fonctionnent sous Windows mais dans ce cas il faut modifier des paramètres comme la résolution ou le nombre de couleurs, lancer le jeu ou l'installer en mode compatibilité "Windows 95 ou 98", appliquer des patches, etc. 

  * Pour les jeux "purs MS-DOS" on peut utiliser [[http://dosbox.sourceforge.net|DOSBox]] qui émule MS-DOS et fonctionne très bien (la dernière version 0.72 pour Windows est disponible [[http://oldies.ndlp.info/emulators/pc/DOSBox0.72-win32-installer.exe|ici]] également). Le soft est toujours activement développé et on trouve sur le site une liste de compatibilité des jeux. Il est également disponible sous plusieurs plateformes (Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS, BeOS, etc). Par contre dans certains cas on peut avoir des soucis avec le son. On peut utiliser [[http://ntvdm.cjb.net|VDMSound]] qui émule une carte son pour DOSBox.
