Lancer le shell CPAN :
  perl -MCPAN -e shell

Forcer la réinitialisation de la configuration :

   root@xp2400:~# perl -MCPAN -e shell reconfigure
   Terminal does not support AddHistory.
   cpan shell -- CPAN exploration and modules installation (v1.7601)
   ReadLine support available (try 'install Bundle::CPAN')
  
   cpan>o conf init
   /etc/perl/CPAN/Config.pm initialized.

Forcer une install (pour éviter d'éventuels test inutiles ou qui ne passent pas) :
  force install DBD::mysql
